The Decca Gold label, recently re-established, approached me about designing album art for several of their new releases. Inspired by the historic Decca Gold label established in the 1950’s, they wanted the new album art to reference that same retro, modern look using lots of illustration. Worked on album art for several of their New York Philharmonic releases, the art for the Van Cliburn Piano Competition releases, as well as some others.
I also wanted to show some of my comps that ended up on the cutting room floor.
